It costs the U.S. Government $22 Million/per year to subsidize Public Television…that works out to $1.35 for each American. Meanwhile, under Mitt Romney’s new Tax Plan, Sesame Street would be cut (.0012 of the entire budget), while Billionaire, Sheldon Adelson would get to hold on to an additional $2 BILLION (with a “B”) per year. Romney isn’t against Big Bird or Jim Lehrer, what he really is against is Government subsidizing Public Television when they preach “Liberal” ideals (like Empathy, Healthy Habits, Truth in Reporting, Compassion, the Joy of Sharing and Caring, etc.)…you know, the same stuff that Jesus preached. I KNOW!  It makes no sense…how do Republicans get to be selfish and ALSO get to claim to be “Christians”?
