One of you asked why Florida had stripes on Rachel Maddow’s “Jail Time for Abortion Doctors Map” I posted. I’m sorry!  Somehow - your post got lost in the ethers, but here’s your answer: Florida has stripes because it made the map twice.  I guess they have more than one law about it, with different sentencing guidelines. The following states have laws that carry sentences for doctors performing abortion of 6 Months to 8 years: ID, NM, KS, OK, MN, MO, AR, IN, OH, KY, FL The following states have laws that carry sentences for doctors performing abortion of 10 years: IA, MS, AL The following states have laws that carry sentences for doctors performing abortion of 30 years to LIFE: GA, FL Florida was being extra thorough. I think I’m going to be sick now.
