…Wouldn’t you know it, there was no coverage of it so far that I’ve seen on MSNBC, and Current is on a President’s Day “holiday” schedule, broadcasting a “Last 24” marathon, haven’t had a chance to check CNN yet…has anyone watched other stations to see who, if any station, is covering our planet’s MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE??

Boehner declined to stand during several key moments of Obama’s address, even while Vice President Joe Biden stood next to him. Those moments that did not move Boehner to his feet included bipartisan applause lines for enhancing childhood education, a vote on immigration reform, protecting the right to vote, honoring our wounded warriors and putting our country before our party.

MSNBC calls itself “forward” thinking? Yet, did you hear A WORD about the 48 arrests at the White House yesterday, anywhere on their network? Among those arrested were Daryl Hannah, Bill McKibben of 350.org, Robert Kennedy, Jr., and The Sierra Club’s Executive Director, Michael Brune.
This non-coverage is BULLSHIT…and, like it or not, nature won’t WAIT for our politicians to be courageous enough to stand up against Big Oil! The Arctic is melting whether we are made aware of it or not.

DECISION TOMORROW: EMERGENCY PETITION TO STOP RADIOACTIVE EYEGLASSES, KITCHENWARE, TOYS, etc. Stop the Department of Energy plans to use 14,000 tons of radioactive scrap metals in the manufacturing of consumer products.
U.S. Dept of Energy Secretary Steven Chu plans to dump 14,000 tons of radioactive scrap metal into the marketplace for use in the manufacturing of consumer products.1 This means that your everyday purchases, such as silverware, zippers, belt buckles, eyeglass frames, jewelry, watches, toys, pet bowls, and leashes could soon be made with radioactive scrap metal.
This action is being fast-tracked, with little regard for public comment. The deadline for a decision is this Monday, February 11.
That’s why I created an emergency petition on SignOn.org to Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, which says:
Stop the Department of Energy plans to use 14,000 tons of radioactive scrap metals in the manufacturing of consumer products. There is no safe level of radiation. Keep nuclear waste out of my home and workplace!

February is Black History Month ~ Martin Luther King with Rosa Parks
It’s not over yet! Bernie Sanders and many others have vowed to fight the Saturday closings, and small rural post office closings.
We need to put our heads together and come up with actions and petitions that will reverse the horrible law that has caused the Post Office to be having such severe problems right now.

We need to come up with ways to funnel money into the USPS coffers.
1) BUY BOOKS OF STAMPS!
2) USE THE POST OFFICE EXCLUSIVELY, rather than using other more expensive, privately owned companies like UPS or FedEx.
3) SEND BACK JUNK MAIL, INCLUDING UNFILLED OUT CREDIT CARD OFFERS IN THEIR PRE-PAID ENVELOPES .

John Brennan, Bush’s Drone Chief, should NOT be appointed the head of ANYTHING! He should be tried for War Crimes!
