“The truth of the matter is that voter fraud—votes knowingly cast by ineligible individuals—is exceedingly rare. One is more likely to be Struck by Lightning than to commit Voter Fraud.”
Truth About Fraud.” via The Brennan Center for Justice

“The most recent studies showed, since 2000, there have been seven cases of voter fraud identification, in person Voter Fraud, the kind that would be cured with an I.D. Seven since 2000.
There are more cases of violations of Migratory Bird statutes than there are of Election Laws!”

1) We need to see more than 2 years of Romney’s Tax Returns! What is he hiding? Is anyone in the media going to bring this up again, or are we just going to give Mitt a pass? I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure he’s hiding a mighty lot (listen, Romney submitted over a dozen years of his Tax Returns to John McCain, who took one look at them and proceeded to CHOOSE PALIN)!!
2) What about the Voter Fraud Mitt Romney committed when he claimed that his Main residence was in his son’s basement, so he could qualify to run for office? Meanwhile, he had been spotted numerous times on the other side of the country!! We ALL know that he never spent one night in his son’s basement!! Why is Romney being allowed to get away with this?
The media should still be aggressively challenging him on both of these issues! This is important! This shows his character. He has no moral compass! He just wants to be President, and has no compunctions about lying or cheating to get there. He is hoping to slip by without anyone bringing these situations up again.
Why are we letting him get away with this?
Why have we let these stories die???
I mean, didn’t he commit voter fraud - pretending to live in one state [in his son’s basement, btw, ha ha] while actually being seen repeatedly in a whole different state? Isn’t that a felony? Why was he never challenged on this? Because he’s rich?
And how about this whole thing with him not releasing more than two years of taxes??
Why doesn’t Obama bring this stuff up?
Romney is slime! There’s no bar too low for this guy. He’ll say anything , he just wants to be President!
To get a nonphoto ID for religious reasons, applicants must answer a series of 18 questions that delve deeply into their faiths and other personal information.
Now that Pennsylvania has passed one of the nation’s toughest voter ID laws to prevent voter fraud, the scope of the questions is drawing criticism.
The first item on PennDOT’s form asks applicants to “describe your religion.” It is followed by more questions that devout followers might struggle to answer, and some that inquire about the lives of family members.
How many members are there of your religion?
How many congregations?
What’s the process by which you came to the religion?
What religious practices do you observe?
Do other family members hold the same religious beliefs?
Submitting that form, once notarized, is not enough. Applicants must fill out another form.
If they lack proof of identification, yet another form must be completed before a nonphoto ID is issued. The ID is valid for four years, and the renewal process is simpler.
from the Brennan Center for Justice
Attorney General Eric Holder spoke out Tuesday against new restrictions on voting passed in states across the country. The restrictions passed so far could make it harder for as many as 5 million Americans to vote in the 2012 elections, according to the Brennan Center’s latest report on state election law changes. Attorney General Holder also made the case for modernizing America’s election systems, reports The New York Times. Read the Brennan Center’s latest report on restrictive state election laws, or learn more about our proposal to modernize our nation’s archaic voter registration system.
