Anonymous: you say there is a war on women... there is a war on abortion, not women in general. Don't over dramatize things. I agree that the shit is messed up and shouldn't be an issue. But saying things like that makes me want to not agree with you. Other then that I love your blog ha.
I didn’t coin the phrase, “War on Women”, but the truth is it’s not just a war on abortion. Contraception is not abortion…contraception is called Family Planning…so a woman can have children when SHE wants them, instead of when Rick Santorum says it’s okay…Contraception also regulates women’s monthly cycles, and many women take contraceptives to keep themselves from getting other illnesses…all that has nothing to do with Abortion, but all these services are at risk, if Contraception were ever outlawed.
There most definitely IS a War on Women’s Rights…yes, there is…in fact, ALL of our Citizens’ Rights are being assaulted, from Privacy to Voter Suppression. The War on Women is just one more stake in the heart of democracy.
Drama is sometimes necessary, to get your point across, when we are talking about life and death matters.
I’m proud if you think I over dramatized this important issue.
This War on Women is not a laughing matter.

Earlier this week, Rush Limbaugh referred to a very bright, very brave young woman speaking out on the medical need for birth control as a slut. He then doubled down, demanding that she post videos of her having sex online for his enjoyment.
Several of Limbaugh’s advertisers have already announced they will no longer advertise on Limbaugh’s program because of this. Sign the petition to the rest of his advertisers telling them to do the same. We will deliver the signatures:

No matter how much they try to say that they are CAMPAIGNING because they will create MORE JOBS, and whatever other bullshit they try to sling at the voters, in order to get elected, KNOW that they are a bunch of nutjobs who have no concern about the economy, the environment or the world situation.
REPUBLICANS WANT TO GET INSIDE YOUR BEDROOM AND REGULATE WHATEVER GOES ON THERE. Then, if you should happen to get Pregnant, they want to REGULATE THAT, too.
The GOP has revealed itself to be an exceedingly dangerous, selfish, greedy, wicked, woman-hating, gay-hating, race-baiting, abortion-hating party, and they are not even BOTHERING to try and hide it any more.
